The federal criminal trial against Barry Cadden continues in Boston and will be entering its fitth week. Cadden was an owner and pharmacist acting as the chief operating role at the New England Compounding Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. Federal prosecutors allege more than 60 people from at least seven states died after receiving a fungus-contaminated deadly drug prepared by NECC. More than 2000 were sickened in the nationwide outbreak of fungal meningitis that followed, including persons in Indiana and southern Michigan, many of whom are represented by Foley & Small.
